The most beloved and iconic channel on the pay tv network DSTV, was in need of an imaging refresh.
It has lost all connection with the viewer and has become too clinical and matter-of-fact. It was time to bring that emotional resonance back and rocket-ship this classic brand into the future. Carrying the best and newest shows, movies and premieres, it’s general entertainment at its best. At the very heart of the rebrand, lies the underlying philosophy of streamlined viewing. In line with the modern way in which consumers take in and relate to information, the channel communicates with you throughout all its promotions and brand pieces – intimate, emotional and trustworthy like the advice of a best friend! Together with beautiful cinematic shot elements, a vibrant colour palette of lime green and vibrant blue, the spectrum opens even more to bright and inviting colour combinations that makes the channel feel as fresh and new as the content it carries. A lot of layered and on-point information gets offered throughout to entice younger viewers and to keep communications fresh. With spectacular new music, the rebrand was a huge success.
