We conceptualized and curated a hard hitting narrative for the untameable, ever so fresh and eclectic MTV BASE AFRICA . The execution of this project reflects MTV’s stature as a cutting edge and digitally powerful music and youth culture authority. We opted for fast paced cuts to effortlessly illuminate the relentless, time shifting and pulsating spirit of the cosmopolitan urbanites who form the core of the MTV brand. The overall look and feel manifest in this particular project, and is consistent with the identity MTV maintains across other platforms such as Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. The success of this project was reflected upon the first week of MTV launching it’s campaign where #MTVTOP30 sprung up to top 3 trending tweets in South Africa.
